The confirm button does not remove risk.
The Public Paper Beta does not use real money, but it also cannot reproduce every condition or outcome of live trading. Read this disclosure before connecting an account.
Paper trading is a simulation
Paper, practice, demo, and test accounts use simulated funds. Results can differ materially from live trading because fills, liquidity, queue position, latency, slippage, fees, borrow availability, corporate actions, market impact, and emotional or financial pressure may be absent or modeled differently.
Successful Paper results do not predict live results. No Paper order is intended to create a real-money position, but you must verify the account type at the connected provider before every submission.
Trading losses
Trading stocks, ETFs, options, futures, foreign exchange, digital assets, and other products involves risk of loss and is not suitable for every person. Prices can move rapidly or become unavailable. Options may expire worthless. Short positions can create losses greater than the initial amount received. Digital assets may be highly volatile and may lack protections available for other assets.
Futures, options, margin, and other leveraged products can magnify losses. A live trader may lose all funds deposited and, depending on the product and account, may owe more. Use only risk capital you can afford to lose.
No recommendation or performance promise
Tradevo does not determine whether an instrument, strategy, broker, evaluator, or account is suitable for you. Charts, quotes, account views, labels, and software outputs are not recommendations. Tradevo does not guarantee profit, loss prevention, evaluation success, funded status, payout eligibility, or any other result.
Electronic order risk
Orders can be duplicated, delayed, partially filled, rejected, or filled before a cancel reaches the provider. A browser, device, network, provider API, exchange, or market-data interruption can make displayed state stale.
A quoted price is not a guarantee of execution. Stop, limit, and other conditional orders may execute at unexpected prices or may not execute. A provider may change permissions, reject an instruction, liquidate an account, or be unavailable without Tradevo's control.
Verify with the provider
The broker or evaluator is the authoritative source for orders, positions, balances, and risk status. If Tradevo differs from the provider, stop using Tradevo and manage the account directly with the provider.
Evaluation and funded accounts
Evaluation and funded accounts may impose loss limits, drawdown calculations, consistency rules, news restrictions, position limits, prohibited practices, liquidation rules, and payout conditions. Tradevo does not interpret, monitor, or guarantee compliance with those rules. They may change without notice from Tradevo.
These account types are not enabled in the Public Paper Beta unless Tradevo expressly identifies the exact provider and account type as supported.
Provider and protection limits
Your assets, if any, are held by the connected provider—not Tradevo. Any SIPC, FDIC, segregation, insurance, or other protection depends on the institution, asset, account, and governing rules. Tradevo is not a SIPC member and does not extend SIPC or similar protection. SIPC does not protect market losses and generally does not protect commodity futures or foreign-exchange trades.
No emergency dependency
Do not rely on Tradevo as the only way to close or protect a position. Keep direct access to the connected broker or evaluator and contact that provider for execution emergencies.
Your responsibility
Review the connected provider's disclosures and determine whether you understand the product, account rules, costs, tax consequences, and maximum loss. Confirm the exact account, symbol, side, quantity, order type, price, and duration before every instruction. If anything is unclear or inconsistent, do not submit.
