Know what moves through Tradevo.
This Privacy Policy explains the information Tradevo Technologies Inc. processes for Tradevo Charts and the Public Paper Beta. Effective September 11, 2026.
Scope and contact
This policy applies to Tradevo Charts websites, accounts, support, subscriptions, analytics, and broker-connection features operated by Tradevo Technologies Inc. It does not replace the privacy policy of a broker, funding evaluator, SnapTrade, Stripe, or another service you choose to connect.
Privacy questions and requests may be sent to support@tradevo.co.
Information we process
Tradevo may process your email address; signed session and login-token records; subscription, invoice, and customer identifiers; policy-acceptance records; support messages; preferences; device, browser, IP, request, and security diagnostics; and basic product-usage events.
Tradevo does not need your legal name, government identifier, bank credentials, or full payment-card number to create a Charts account. Stripe processes payment details and returns limited customer, subscription, and payment status information to Tradevo.
Broker connection data
The TopstepX beta keeps the API key and broker session in the trader's browser memory and communicates directly with the provider. Tradevo servers do not receive or persist that key, order payload, or live market ticks.
For Alpaca, you sign in and authorize access on Alpaca's website. Tradevo does not receive your Alpaca password. If you approve the connection, Tradevo receives a delegated OAuth token, encrypts it before database storage, and uses it only for the account access you authorized. The OAuth client secret remains server-side.
The Alpaca review build is restricted to the paper environment. Disconnecting from Tradevo deletes Tradevo's stored encrypted token. You may also review or revoke the application's authorization directly through Alpaca.
For SnapTrade, you authorize a brokerage through SnapTrade's secure portal, and Tradevo does not receive the brokerage password entered there. Tradevo registers a per-user SnapTrade identity, encrypts the resulting user secret before database storage, and processes the connection, account, quote, and order data required to provide the feature. Tradevo also records the accepted SnapTrade End User Terms version and time and a limited security ledger for confirmed order and cancellation requests.
The Public Paper Beta uses SnapTrade's production connection service but permits order entry only for eligible Paper accounts. Disconnecting requests removal of that brokerage connection through SnapTrade. Deleting the SnapTrade profile requests removal of all SnapTrade connections and deletes Tradevo's encrypted local user secret after SnapTrade accepts the request.
Rithmic will remain unavailable publicly until its final approved architecture, credential handling, and vendor requirements are reflected here.
How we use information
Tradevo uses information to authenticate users; provide charts, billing, support, and broker features; obtain and display account state; transmit user-confirmed Paper instructions; secure and debug the service; enforce limits and agreements; comply with law and provider requirements; prevent abuse; and improve reliability and usability.
Tradevo uses PostHog for limited product and funnel analytics. Session recording is disabled, and Tradevo is configured not to send broker credentials, signal content, positions, orders, or trade outcomes to analytics.
Service providers and disclosures
Tradevo uses service providers including Vercel for hosting, Neon for database services, Resend for account email, Stripe for billing, PostHog for limited analytics, and SnapTrade and connected institutions for brokerage connections. They process information to provide their services under their own terms and privacy commitments.
Tradevo may disclose information when you direct it; to operate and secure the service; to investigate abuse; to protect users, providers, or rights; in a corporate transaction; or when reasonably required by law. Tradevo does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and similar technology
Tradevo uses necessary cookies or similar browser storage for authentication, security, feature state, and preferences. Limited analytics may measure visits and product flows. Tradevo does not use broker credentials or order data for advertising.
Retention and deletion
Tradevo retains information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including account operation, active connections, billing, security, dispute resolution, provider requirements, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by record type.
Disconnecting deletes an active Alpaca token stored by Tradevo. SnapTrade connection and profile deletion follow the process described above. Account deletion may remove or de-identify ordinary account data, while limited billing, policy-acceptance, fraud-prevention, security, and confirmed-action records may remain when reasonably necessary or legally required.
Security
No online service can guarantee absolute security. If you suspect exposure, disconnect in Tradevo and revoke the authorization or credential directly with the provider.
Your choices and rights
You may disconnect a brokerage, delete a SnapTrade profile, cancel a subscription, or request account deletion. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, and to appeal a denied privacy request.
Submit a request through the support page or support@tradevo.co from the email associated with your account. Tradevo may verify your identity and may retain records required for fraud prevention, billing, disputes, provider obligations, or law. Authorized agents must provide evidence of authority where required.
Age, location, and changes
Tradevo Charts is not intended for anyone under 18, and Tradevo does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The service is operated from the United States, and information may be processed there and wherever its service providers operate.
Tradevo may update this policy for product, provider, security, or legal changes. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email when required. The version and effective date shown on the published policy identify the governing text.
